 Mattaponi Atlas . . .The Mattaponi Atlas was an effort made by GeoMap in association qith the Mattaponi Indian Tribe of Virginia. This instance of GeoMap included Dr. Bernard Nietschmann, Widdicombe Schmidt, Steve Rose, and Tim Norris. A print ready digital file was completed and ready for publication, but due to funding and other factors, the book was never printed. There was a series of maps created that showed the 'invasion' of British settlers into Mattaponi lands. Without the help of Carl Custalow we would have never started the work that may someday be finished. Example of one of the historical maps
